The Year in Books : March

My book for March and 'Japanese Cherry' Green Tea from Atkinsons

Last month I read non-fiction, so this month was time for fiction again and having loved The Girl Who Played With Fire so much, I had to finish the trilogy with The Girl Who Kicked The Hornets Nest by Stieg Larsson.

I'm currently just over half way and have to say that I'm not enjoying it as much as the second book.  I think it's because the suspense over who committed the murder in the second book is wrapped up and Larsson has a tendency to go off on political interludes.  The plot has also become overly complicated by a who's watching who scenario and the main character  -Lisbeth - is taking a bit of a back seat as she awaits trial.

It's a chunky book and I'm glad I have the rest of my Easter break when I can hopefully finish it.

So, you know the books on my bedside table.  What are you reading?  Let me know your recommendations in the comments....

Happy reading! xox
