Last month I travelled back to my home town to meet-up with the lovely Gemma and Dave to discuss plans for their wedding and do their wedding pre-shoot. I’m over the moon to be photographing Gemma and Dave’s big day later this month and it’s all the more special because Gemma is a childhood friend.
I do a wedding pre-shoot with all my wedding clients as it’s a great way to get couples comfortable in front of the camera before the big day, we get to know each other more and can practise a few poses that might work on the wedding day. So, with warm jackets and cosy scarfs we headed to Werneth Low Country Park after spending some time chatting and looking round the wedding venue at the Joshua Bradley.
With a beautiful couple, moody skies and rolling hills, I had so much fun snapping away whilst Gemma and Dave walked, chatted and stopped for the occasional posed moment by a wooden gate or stone brick wall. I’m so pleased with the photos and doesn’t Gemma look lovely in her wedding make-up test by the ever so talented Joanna Daines. I can’t wait for the big day now on the 23rd!
