Lavender seems to be a controversial flower amongst my friends. It's a bit of a Marmite flower and you either love it or hate it. Unsurprisingly, I'm in the 'love it' camp and had bunches of the stuff as pew ends for my own wedding. Lavender is great when it's fresh and even better when it's dried. It has numerous health benefits. It aids relaxation and natural sleep and can be used in lotions, potions, baking and tea... the list is endless!
For this Flay Lay, I sourced some extra special scissors from Lianascastle (a lifestyle boutique and haberdashery on Ebay). After watching Emily Quinton's tripod video I've also added this nifty little tripod to my ever-growing Amazon wishlist *sigh* and I'm toying with the idea of painting my flat-lay board black on one side for some moodier shots - what do you think?
