Over the past couple of months, I've been trying to make Tuesday evenings my time to work on calligraphy as it's an area that I've wanted to develop for quite some time and just never seemed to find the time for?! To get myself re-started I've actually chosen to put my calligraphy nibs to one side and having been working on a lovely little online Hand-Lettering course by Holly McCaig who I stumbled upon through Instagram.
I haven't really got much to show for it yet as I've been busy sourcing the right tools and practicing my hand-lettering strokes (see above) with my different pens. I'm hoping to share more as I develop and progress. As they say, the biggest step is the first, so I'm pleased I've shared my progress so far no matter how small!
Have you started any new hobbies in 2016? Is there a skill you'd love to learn? I'd love to hear how you're getting on too?
